LOCA (Lesbians Of a Certain Age) Salon - (LOCA) Lesbians Of A Certain Age - Tue Mar 4 at 6:30PM

The LOCA (Lesbians Of a Certain Age) Salon is a lively, fun and informative conversation group for mature women (age 55 and older, give or take).  It meets at Q Center's library the first Monday of every month, from 6:30pm-8:30pm.  Topics range widely but are always of interest to older women.  Examples of past Salons include: the end of DOMA, luck & fate vs. determination & effort, issues for transgender persons, and the impact of organized religion on LGBT population. Salon-goers are sent an email prior to the event, with information on the topic and links to online reading, which is optional.  The event is free and we ask participants to donate what they can afford to help pay for the use of the room.  Bring a snack to share if so inclined.
