The Comedy of Errors at Fairsing Vineyards - Sunday, July 21 at 6pm

Experience Theatre Project proudly presents its fourth annual Outdoor Summer Shakespeare series of: THE COMEDY OF ERRORSby William ShakespeareDirected by Brenda Hubbard June 28-August 4, 2019 All Ages - Shows FREE to the public! $10 donation per person encouraged. WINERY & SEATING PACKAGES AVAILABLE FOR PRE-PURCHASE ABOUT THE SHOW:   Sometimes you just want to laugh! Mistaken identity, jokes, puns, and slapstick comedy is exactly what you need on a beautiful Oregon summer day while sipping Oregon wine! The Comedy of Errors is Shakespeare's shortest-and one of his most farcical-comedies. While the text of the play is funny, the fantastic acting and creative directing by Brenda Hubbard make this play hilarious. Given that the play is about sets of identical twins, it is not surprising that the play’s strength is in interactions between different sets of characters paired together and then playing off each other throughout the production. There is never a dull moment in this hilarious production!  Bring some cash to purchase raffle tickets or tokens for the actors selling merchandise. You could go home with a one-of-a-kind prize. All proceeds go directly to Comedy of Errors designers, actors and crew for all their hard work! If you do not purchase advanced reservations, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to showtime to stake out your space. If you purchase a reservation, you may arrive anytime before showtime. Your seat isn't going anywhere! Is there an actual stage? NO. Performers will perform the play on the grass directly in front of the tasting room. If it is a free show, why are you selling tickets? All of our productions offer different options depending on the kind of experience you wish to have. If you're a family of five with young children, you might wish to attend the show for free at the Westside Shakespeare Festival at the Beaverton library lawn. If you are a couple that wishes more of a date night feel, reserving two seats with an add-on VIP package might be more your thing. Two couples? Try the picnic for four. It just depends on your mood and your pocketbook. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? This event is ALL AGES, however, all alcohol purchases are for those 21 and over, of course. Be sure to have your ID handy.  What are my transportation/parking options? There is plenty of parking with some overflow available as well. Unfortunately there are no public transportation options out to the winery. But if you're looking for a ride, you should put out an ask on Experience Theatre Project's Facebook page. Someone's bound to give you a lift! What can I bring into the event? You may bring blankets, chairs, sun shade, and of course, ALL of your family and friends! But please do not bring any outside food, alcohol, fireworks, firearms, or pets. What's the refund policy? There are no refunds on reservation purchases at any time as we process those as an advance donation for the show. In the event you find you cannot make it or if a show is cancelled due to the weather, we will be happy to move your reservation from one night to the other, depending on the availability of the performance you wish to see. Do I have to bring my printed reservation to the event? No, we will have your reservation on file. Simply check in with your name at our concierge desk and we'll get you squared away! Is this venue ADA compliant?  Yes! The parking lot is dirt, so that may be a challenge if you are in a walker or wheelchair, but the edge of the driveway and sidewalk to the tasting room and seating are paved.
